Me: So what did you guys do on your dates? Did you guys watch movies and stuff?

Mom: Yeah, but I don't remember because it was over 20 years ago.

Me: How were your conversations? Dad doesn't talk that much. Did you talk most of the time?

Mom: No, it was just quiet.

Me: What? But you're not quiet!

Mom: Yeah, I know. I just pretended to be quiet around your dad until I married him.
